Job Title: SCE Program Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to oversee vendor-managed inventory (or “VMI”), non-coded sourcing, customer service, vendor relationships, and warehousing activities in accordance with Cadence’s policies, procedures and principles to support WESCO’s Diversity Alliance in serving Southern California Edison.  The ideal candidate will have the knowledge of electrical utilities technology, sharp customer service skills, and a keen eye for process improvements.

Our compensation package includes a base salary plus bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate purchasing, VMI, non-coded sourcing, customer services, vendor relationships and warehousing activities in accordance with Cadence’s policies, procedures and principles
  • Confer with customers on programs performance and evaluate areas for improvement and expanded services
  • Id Monitor programs effectiveness and prepare monthly reports such as cost, performance, service quality and improvements
  • Coordinate customer technical support and training needs for specific products within Cadence’s scope
  • Coordinate programs and ideas for cost savings
  • Analyze supplier performance and make recommendations on new agreements & product rationalization
  • Identify and manage revenue opportunities that bring value to both WESCO Diversity Alliance and the customer
  • Review programs performance metrics with site such as inventory turns, delivery, savings and stockroom fill rates
  • Resolve program issues with customers
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Coordinate vendor information sharing activities with the customer, including new product launch, value-added and cost savings initiatives
  • Engage in supplier training programs

Job Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills (strong Microsoft Excel skills required)
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Ability to be organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to use good judgment
  • Ability to clearly present complex data to non-technical staff
  • Thorough knowledge of sales, marketing, and processes
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelors Degree
